HUNTING SEASON:

If you want to enjoy the adrenaline-filled elk hunts, you have to wait a particular time for the best season to go out for Elk hunting.

The best season for Elk hunting in September and October  as it is the time of rut. This period is considered the best time because bulls are fighting for dominance. In addition, the cold weather makes the animals bugle more, and in certain places, this season doesn't even end in December.

HUNTING METHODS:

There are many Elk hunting methods; some of them are described below

  • Stalking and Calling

  • Archery or Bow hunting

  • Riffle or Gear hunting

STALKING AND CALLING:

It is the most classical method. The hunters use the animal calls to attract them. The data shows that you can hunt more with this method.

ARCHERY OR BOW HUNTING:

This method requires you to be close to the animal that makes your hunting experience more thrilling. Chooseclothingthat will not make the animal attentive, and most importantly, use scent control sprays.

RIFLE OR GEAR HUNTING:

The hunting can also be done with some suitable short range gear while standing behind a tree or from the ground.
